This year's senior meetings for the class of 2026 will be held Saturday, September 20 in the MHS Auditorium.

All seniors should attend their counselor session with a parent/guardian. We will be going over the graduation checklist, Bright Futures, planning for the next steps, transcripts, and more.

Congratulations to our very own Mrs. Jamie Reynolds on winning a national Rising Star award from the Journalism Education Association. Mrs. Reynold is one of only twelve teachers in the nation to receive this award. She will be recognized at the upcoming JEA National Convention.

There can be NO CHANGES to student schedules after they are published into Focus. Students can view their course requests in Focus. For CURRENT MHS Students, the last day to change course requests with an email to their counselor is May 28th. For students NEW to MHS, the last day to requests course changes is June 19th.

Melbourne High School's Science Research Team did amazingly well at the 70th annual State of Florida Science and Engineering Fair in Lakeland, FL this week. The Bulldog state fair contingent consisted of Sofia Rodrigues, Wesley Kettering, Evan Mellor, Lucas Sarabjit, Archit Kulkarni, Dominic Tosi and Enzo Carter. Nearly $2000 in cash prizes and $192,000 in scholarships were won. Whereas it is a great honor just to earn a bid to the fair, Sofia, Dominic, and Enzo all placed in their categories! Enzo continued his exemplary performance this year by not only winning his category (Physics and Astronomy), earning another bid to the International Science and Engineering Fair, but he also won a Best-In-Show in Physical Science award and trophy. This places his work as one of the 4 top Physical Science projects in the entire state of Florida. The trophy is a traveling award and will be on display at MHS for the year honoring Enzo's well-earned accomplishments. All Bulldogs should be very proud of Enzo and the entire Science Research team. ~ Mr. Greg Stauffer
